iPhone Browser - Chrome

Mastering Tabs in Google Chrome on iPhone

If you are using Google Chrome web browser on iphone 11 or greater, and you feel like you are stuck on our contact email form, you will see a TAB Icon at the BOTTOM of your screen.

The number inside of the Icon tells you how many browser window tabs you still have open. You must tap the Tab Icon to see all the TABs that you still have open in your Google Browser. In this example, there is the number 2 within the Tab Icon indicating that there are 2 browser Tabs now open in Google Chrome.

Note: Don't be alarmed if your Tab Icon shows many many windows (i.e. 500) that are still open. This is expected if you have never cleared out your open Tabs.

Once you have Tapped on the Tab Icon as shown above, you will see thumbnails of all of the Tabs that you currently have open in Google Chrome. In this scenario there are 2 open Tabs: one that shows the Contact email form (on the right) and the other that shows the Duxbury Camera Club Website (on the left).

You can close out the Club's email form (on the right), if you are done with it, by tapping on the "X" in top bar of the Tab thumbnail.

You can then return to the Duxbury Camera Club by just tapping on the center of the tile on the left.

If, at anytime, you wish to CLEAR ALL of your TABS, just Tap on the EDIT at the Bottom of the TABs screen. Then make sure the "Select Tabs" option is checked and then Tap on the "Close All Tabs". This will clear your browser of all open window Tabs.
