Mastering Tabs in Google Chrome on Android Phones

If you are using Google Chrome web browser on an Android Cellphone, and you feel like you are stuck on our contact email form, you will see a TAB Icon at the TOP of your screen.

The number inside of the Icon tells you how many browser window tabs you still have open. You must tap the Tab Icon to see all the TILES of the windows you still have open in your Google Browser. In this example, there is the number 3 within the Tab Icon indicating that there are 3 browser windows now open in Google Chrome.

Note: Don't be alarmed if your Tab Icon shows many many windows that are still open. This is expected if you have never cleared all the open windows from your browser.

Once you have Tapped on the Tab Icon as shown above, you will see all of the Tabs that you currently have open in Google Chrome. In this scenario there are 3 open Tabs: including the contact form and another open window for the Duxbury Camera Club Website.

You can close out the email form at the bottom of the stack by tapping on the "X" in the header bar on the Tab.

You can then return to the Duxbury Camera Club just by tapping on the center of the Tab with the horseshoe crab on it.

If, at anytime, you wish to CLEAR ALL of your TABS, Tap on the 3 Dots Icon in the top Menu Bar as seen on the previous screen above and then Tap on "Close all Tabs" in the dropdown menu.
