Artists Choice 2016 - Cape Cod Art Association
Photographs by Jim Curran and Terri Nickerson have been selected to be part of CCAA’s 2016 exhibit, Artists Choice. Show dates are Feb. 15 - March 13, 2016, with a reception on Thursday, Feb. 18. For this exhibit awards will be decided by the public. You can vote via email and also in person at CCAA. Voting starts during the reception and ends on March 11th at 3pm. Congratulations Jim and Terri!
Winter Juried Show 2016 - Duxbury Art Association
Congratulations to Kathy Dixon on winning 2nd Place for her image Dejected Busker. Kudos also to Joan Collins, Jim Curran, Lynne Ford, Anne Henning, Judith Montminy and Lisa Ryan whose work was accepted into the show. The WJS runs Feb. 7 - April 24, 2016 at the Art Complex Museum in Duxbury.
Shutters, Photography Exhibition - South Shore Art Center
Joan Collins joins four other gallery artists - Peggy Roth Major, Joe Reardon, Tim Waite, and Ronald Wilson - in this by-invitation exhibit. The show runs through Feb. 21, 2016.
International Monochrome Awards
Judith Montminy received an Honorable Mention in the Abstract category of the International Monochrome Awards for her image Looking In.

Images by Sally Ryan Bousquet, in conjunction with her teacher Tim Waite at Firefly53 Studio in Pembroke, appeared in this exclusive show featuring 18 works by 18 artists.
Black & White 2015, Photography Center of Cape Cod
Lynne Ford's Grooming was accepted to Photography Center of Cape Cod's online exhibit, Black & White 2015. Juror was Andy Howard, a recent speaker at one of Duxbury Camera Club's monthly meetings.
2nd Annual iPhonography Competition, Plymouth Guild
Elizabeth "Sunny" Steadman's image Texel Islands, Netherlands was juried into Plymouth's 2nd International iPhonography Competition online.
New Gallery Artist @ South Shore Art Center, Cohasset
Joan Collins was accepted as one of only four new Gallery Artists at SSAC.
BLUE 2015-2016 at Cambridge Art Association
Judith Montminy's photograph Blue Gate was accepted into CAA's Blue 2015-2016 Exhibition, which closed Jan. 5, 2016. Juror was Katherine French, Gallery Director at Catamount Arts in Vermont and retired Executive Director at Danforth Art Museum.
2nd International Open Call, Peter Miller Fine Art Photography Gallery, Providence, RI
Judith Montminy's photograph Divided Light was accepted into PMFA's 2nd International Open Call by juror Paula Tognarelli, Executive Director and Curator at Griffin Museum of Photography. The exhibit closed Dec. 21, 2015.
Early American Life Magazine
Photos taken by Lisa Ryan and Steve Schroeder during DCC's field trip to The King Caesar House in December 2014 were included in the Christmas 2015 issue of Early American Life Magazine.
On The Edge - National Juried Exhibit, South Shore Art Center, Cohasset
Sally Bousquet's photograph Stranded and Judith Montminy's Waiting For The Elevator were selected for the National Juried Exhibit "On The Edge" at SSAC by juror Denise Markonish, curator at Mass MoCA Museum. The show closed Dec. 20, 2015.

Judith Montminy's photograph Healing Light was accepted into Panopticon Gallery's think small exhibit inside Hotel Commonwealth, Boston.
Black & White Photography Exhibition, Anne Henning Gallery, Duxbury
A first-of-its-kind Black & White Photography Exhibition at the Anne Henning Gallery featured works by Sally Ryan Bousquet, Lynne Shackleton Ford, Marilyn Kozodoy, Kevin LaLonde, Frank Moccaldi, Judith Montminy, Camille Neville, Glenn Pollock, Judith Pollock, Rain Rodolph, Joan Sewall, and Myrna Walsh. The show closed Nov. 18, 2015.
All New England Juried Exhibit, Cape Cod Art Association
One of Camille Neville's two photographs in the All New England Juried Exhibit at CCAA won an Honorable Mention in the Black-&-White Category. The show closed Nov 16, 2015.
48th Annual Juried Show, Plymouth Center for the Arts
Rain Rodolph won 2nd Prize in color photography for her image Heat. Other members whose photographs were juried into the show included Joan Collins, Jeannie Fawcett, Maria Hopkins and Joan Sewall. The show closed Nov. 1, 2015.
Nocturne at Dark Room Gallery, Essex Junction, MT
Two of Lisa Ryan's images were selected for the Nocturne Exhibit at the Dark Room Gallery in Essex Junction VT. Her Milky Way received an Honorable Mention from juror Lance Keimig. The show closed Oct. 11, 2015.
Into The Woods, South Shore Natural Science Center, Norwell
Joan Sewell's photographs were featured in a three-person exhibit at SSNSC. Into The Woods ran through Oct 12th. Joan's photograph Flame Out also appeared in Richmond West Stockbridge Art Guild's exhibit at the town's library.
At Quincy ArtFest, Glenn Pollock received First Place in Black & White Photography, Sandy Cole took 2nd Place in Color Photography, and Jeane McKenna received an Honorable Mention in Color Photography.
Cape Cod Art Association National Exhibit

Helen Bumpus Gallery, Duxbury Free Library
Joan Collins had a one-person show in the Bumpus Gallery July-August 2015. Natural Exuberance featured Joan's new landscape and seascape photos from New Zealand and Kauai.
Street Photography, Cape Cod Art Association Mid Summer Art Show, Duxbury Art Association
Jeannie Fawcett had an image juried into CCAA's online exhibit, Street Photography. She also received First Prize in the DAA Mid Summer Art Show. Following the summer exhibit, her award-winning photograph was displayed at the Ellison Center for the Arts, Duxbury.

Greater Lynn International Color Exhibition at New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) Conference
Lisa Ryan had two images accepted into the Greater Lynn International Color Exhibition held during the July 2015 NECCC conference in Amherst, MA. Lisa won Best Landscape in the Nature category and a Judge's Choice in the Open category of the Digital Image Competition.
