Welcome!
Our club is a group of like-minded photographers from surrounding areas. We regularly meet the first Wednesday night of every month to share thoughts, ideas, experiences, and our photographs. Paid members may participate in our critiques, workshops, and field trips. The general public is welcome to come and attend the meetings. Hope to see you there.
Upcoming...
The club's next Meeting is Wednesday, June 6th.

Monthly Shooting Challenge
For the June meeting the theme is "Yellow". So do have fun making pictures of your interpretation of the theme, and we will enjoy seeing your creative results. Prints should be matted and/or mounted, as usual. We will not be judging the prints, nor will we be devoting time to critiquing them. But we will have a prominent place at the front of the room where your prints will be displayed, and during break times we invite sharing and discussion of the results.

This is a combination of two photos I took during the "painting with light" field trip. Coincidentally, a family of foxes was playing in the dunes near the parking lot before the sun set and I was lucky enough get a few shots of them. I used Elements to select a fox image from one photo and paste it into the photo of the bear, which I took later that evening. The bear photo is a long exposure using a flashlight to "paint" the bear while the background remains dark. Bear photo: Canon 7D on tripod, 24-70mm lens at 45mm, f/16, ISO100, 8 sec.
