Our club is a group of enthusiastic photographers from Duxbury and surrounding areas. We regularly meet the first Wednesday night of every month from September through June to share thoughts, ideas, experiences, and our photographs. Paid members may participate in our critiques, workshops, and field trips. The general public is welcome to come and attend the meetings. Hope to see you there.

CCAA "National" Exhibit
Congratulations to Jeannie Fawcett and Terri Nickerson for getting accepted into "The National" Exhibit at the Cape Cod Art Association, 3480 Main Street, Barnstable. Show dates are July 16-August 24. Everyone is welcome to attend the Opening Reception scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 4-6 PM
Joan has been invited to exhibit at the Helen Bumpus Gallery, at the Duxbury Free Library during July and August. The title of the show is “Natural Exuberance” and it will feature approximately 22 of her new landscape and seascape photos from New Zealand and Kauai.
Panopticon Gallery in Boston has selected Judith's photograph, "Healing Light", for its "Think Small" juried photography exhibition.
The show will run from September 10th - November 30th, 2015 and is held at the Panopticon Gallery, inside the Hotel
Commonwealth at 502c Commonwealth Ave, Boston. Gallery hours are Tuesday–Saturday 9:00am - 3:00pm. All are welcome to the Opening Reception on Thursday, Sept 10th,
5:30 - 7:30.
Joan photographs will appear in the "Into The Woods" exhibit at the Natural Science Center in Norwell. Show dates are Aug 29th - Oct 12th. This is a 3 person show that will feature photographs, wood carvings, and quilts.
In addition to being accepted into "The National", Jeannie's image, "Sad but True", was selected for the Cape Cod

Monthly Shooting Challenge

Our theme for September is My Summer. All members are encouraged to participate, and we look forward to seeing all of your creative interpretations of this theme! Submissions should be uploaded to the Club website's "Monthly Challenge Photo Entry" Gallery, which is located under the "Galleries" tab. Please upload your photos by 7:00 pm on Monday, August 31st. All photos will be presented via slideshow at our meeting on September 2nd, and winners will be determined by a vote at the meeting.

To submit your photo:Login to the Duxbury Camera Club website- if you cannot remember your user name or password, there are options to help you recover them.Go to the "Galleries" tab at the top of the screen and select "Monthly Challenge Photo Entry"- you will only be able to access this tab if you are logged in. Once you are successfully logged in, a member menu will appear down the left side of your screen. If you have logged in but the menu hasn't appeared, try clicking on the "Home" tab or another tab at the top of the screen. Once the member menu is visible, you'll be able to access the Monthly Challenge Photo Entry gallery.Once in the Monthly Challenge Photo Entry gallery, click on "Upload" and choose your file- please make sure that your file is 4MB or smaller. Resizing help is available under the Resources tab. Go to the Training Materials, and there are resizing tutorials.
